Storm Damage Roof Inspections in the Treasure Valley

After wind or hail, Bravo Roofing LLC can inspect your roof, photograph any damage and give you a written estimate. You'll know what happened to your roof and what it would take to fix it, whether or not you decide to file an insurance claim.

What we check

  • Shingles: missing, creased, lifted or bruised
  • Granule loss and exposed mat
  • Flashing, vents and pipe boots
  • Ridge caps and roof edges
  • Gutters, downspouts and fascia
  • Signs of water getting into the attic

What you get

We walk you through what we found, with photos of any damage and a plain explanation of what's urgent and what isn't. If repairs or a replacement are needed, you'll get a written estimate. If your roof is fine, we'll tell you that too.

Storm damage and your insurance

We can give you photos and an estimate to share with your insurance company, and we can help you understand what we found. We can't tell you what your policy covers or promise that a claim will be approved. Coverage depends on your policy, the cause of the damage and your insurer's determination.

Watch out for storm chasers

After a big storm, out-of-area crews sometimes go door to door. Be careful with anyone who pressures you to sign on the spot, asks for a large payment up front or offers to cover your deductible. Check any contractor's Idaho registration and reviews before you agree to anything.

What homeowners say

“I had some issues with my roof leaking from wind driven rain damage and called multiple roofing companies to come out and inspect. Bravo Roofing was one of the quickest to respond, came out promptly and gave us a fair estimate on the spot. Not only was their price fair but Kyle the owner, is a very polite down to earth person who was professional throughout the entire project and uses high quality materials. Their roofs come with a great warranty on the materials and installation. Overall it was a great experience and I have nothing negative to say about it. Roof was fully replaced in one long day. I would recommend Bravo Roofing for all your roofing needs big or small.”— Nick Steinkraus, Boise

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my roof has storm damage?

Look from the ground for missing shingles, debris in the yard, dented gutters or vents, and new ceiling stains. Some damage can't be seen from the ground, so an inspection is the surest way to find out. Please stay off the roof.

Should I call my roofer or my insurance company first?

You can do either. Many homeowners get an inspection first so they know what they're dealing with. Contact your insurer promptly if you plan to file, because policies have time limits and requirements.

Will insurance pay for my new roof?

It depends on your policy, the cause of the damage and your insurer's decision. Nobody but your insurance company can answer that, so be wary of any contractor who promises it will.
